Short-term Exhibition Facilities
Two ultra-modern air-conditioned exhibition halls are available for lease, with a total capacity of 247 (3mx3m) booths. Full support services, such as supplies of mailing lists, customs information, transportation, and venues are included.

Meeting Facilities
An auditorium and conference rooms of different sizes are available for lease on the third floor of Hall One, which has a separate gate leading directly to the ground floor, as well as a separate freight elevator. Half-day rental rates range from NT$20,000 for the auditorium (seating 700) and NT$10,500 for the large conference room (seating 156) to NT$2,700 for small conference rooms (seating 36-63). Charges include arrangement of seats, audiovisual equipment, signposts, general lighting, air-conditioning, microphones, and white boards.
Free-of-charge Distribution of Trade Inquiries & Information
The WTC Taichung maintains close contact with about 1,000 members and other firms in the area. Trade inquiries and materials are first distributed to interested members on the basis of their products and business categories. These are subsequently published in our Newsletter, which has a circulation of 5,000, or are released to the local press, depending on the urgency and importance of the information. Finally, materials with long-term value are collected and displayed in our trade library. The WTC Taichung welcomes requests for such services, which are furnished at no cost.
Information and Individual Meeting Arrangements
Our computer data bases feature Taiwan export and import statistics; lists of trade associations; chambers of commerce and related government agencies; lists of specialized trade media; lists of overseas buyers; and a complete file of company profiles both on the national and local levels. Order forms for such services available on request.
Incoming Group Trade Missions
One- to three-day programs for incoming delegations to Taichung can be arranged, including meetings with local government officials, trade associations and WTC members. Services also feature hotel and travel arrangements, technical advice on local markets, and assistance with individual lists for presentation or reception. Bookings must be made one month before arrival. A basic fee is charged in some cases. A suggested itinerary for incoming groups is available on request.
Outgoing Group Trade Missions
The WTC Taichung attends meetings of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) twice a year. All of its local members are invited. Group trade missions to potential overseas markets are organized as well, including visits to other world trade centers and international trade shows. A basic fee is charged to cover such arrangements.
Trade Education Services
Training courses on international trade practice, management, public relation, communication skills, EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration), and international marketing are available. In addition, seminars on specific topics are organized. Registration fees vary, according to the nature of the courses.
Language Training
English, Japanese and Spanish languages training classes are opened every two months.
Telecommunication Services
The WTC Taichung can send or receive messages for visiting business people and tenants, using fax machines and computers.
Translation Services
WTC Taichung provides both oral and written translation services from English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, into Chinese (Mandarin and Taiwanese dialect) and from Chinese into any of the above languages.

Such services include arrangement of transportation, sight-seeing, purchase of air tickets, reconfirmation of flights, car rental assistance, visa application help, and the supply of travel consultancy and related information.
